Updates for HubSpot, Docusign, REST API, and much more

Spring is here, and with it comes updates from ChargeOver!

#Integration updates

#Docusign improvements

Send, sign and manage all your agreements for free with Docusign! Personalize the documents your customers sign by using merge tags to auto-fill information into Docusign agreements.

  • added merge tag for the company name
  • added merge tag for the ChargeOver quote number
  • added merge tag for the ChargeOver quote date

#HubSpot improvements

We've made a number of improvements to our HubSpot integration.

  • Added the ability to automatically send a quote from ChargeOver, after being synced from HubSpot
  • Added support for creating a quote with a delayed start date - allow your customer to accept a quote, with the actual billing/payment delayed to a future date
  • Add a tool to un-link ChargeOver customer/subscriptions from HubSpot customers/deals

#REST API updates

#REST API - scheduled future price updates on subscriptions

We've added the ability to fetch scheduled price updates via the REST API. Schedule price increases (e.g. 3% price increase per year) via the REST API, and then fetch this information later via the REST API too.

#REST API - invoices improvements

  • The REST API exposes three new flags on invoices - indicating whether invoices are exempt from dunning (no_dunning), processing fees (no_procfees), or late fees (no_latefees)
  • Invoices are now query-able by total, balance, or subtotal fields

#Other improvements and fixes

#Create invoice same day on existing subscription

We've added a new button to generate an invoice early for subscriptions. It can be found in a subscription's the "Invoice Forecast" window.

#Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the MRR Summary report did not correctly remember the currency you last viewed it with
  • Fixed a performance issue when loading subscriptions with many line items
  • Fixed an issue where un-cancelling a subscription did not correctly trigger a sync to Salesforce
  • Fixed an issue where the button to delete customers was displayed, even if the user did not actually have the permissions necessary to click the button (an error indicating permission denied would be shown when the button was clicked)
