REST API and reporting updates

#REST API improvements

We've made a number of improvements to our REST API over the past few weeks.

• Bundles - when you fetch a bundle via the REST API, return the component prices as well
• Added support for setting payment custom fields when making a payment
• Added an endpoint for deleting "notes"

#Reporting improvements

In our quest to make sure you can get the data you need out of stock reports, and also build better custom reports, we've been hard at work adding additional available columns to a number of reports.

We've added a new Columns... button to the following reports, to let you pick and choose which columns you want to see on each report:

• Today's Refunds and Payments
• Customers without a Credit Card/ACH account
• Overdue Invoice Summary
• A/R Aging Detail
  
  

We've also added a new base report from which you can build custom reports - a base report which shows you how payments, refunds, and credits are applied to invoices.

#Other improvements

• Performance updates - We've made several updates to improve performance when creating a payment and applying it to a large number (20+) of invoices at once.
• Converge/Elavon payment gateway - We've made several updates to improve the decline messaging that comes back from Converge/make the messaging more actionable/understandable.
