Happy Halloween!
The ChargeOver team has been hard at work preparing some spooky updates to help streamline your recurring payments, and keep the candy flowing!
#New features
#Keep your books accurate by setting a closing date/accounting close period!
Closing dates can be helpful for tracking financial progress in a more accurate way. When a closing date is set, invoices and transactions cannot be created or modified if they are dated on or before the closing date.
Use closing dates to close out months or quarters, making sure no financial data changes in ChargeOver prior to the close date.
#Request a signature via Docusign!
ChargeOver now supports Docusign integration - require a digital signature before your customer accepts a quote in ChargeOver.
Use Docusign templates to build a robust workflow around sales and service agreements so you don't have to chase down signatures. Docusign integration is available to customers on ChargeOver's Growth
plan or higher.
#Other improvements
#SeamlessChex eCheck payment processor support
ChargeOver has added support for another great eCheck payments processor.
Seamless Chex make it possible for you to accept checks online and instantly verify and debit customers' bank accounts. They offer instant set-up and approval to all legal US businesses and fast next-day funding.
#Developer improvements
#Bundles via the REST API
When fetching a "bundle" product via the REST API, we now also return the item_id
, name
, and description
of the bundle components as well.
#Webhooks improvements for refund transactions
For refund transactions, webhooks sent could occasionally be missing details about how the refund was applied (which invoices the refund was for).
This has been improved to make sure this data is always present.
#Expose write_datetime
and mod_datetime
fields for credit cards, bank accounts, and tokenized payment methods via the REST API
We've added a few new fields to the REST API responses for credit cards, bank accounts, and tokenized payment methods to help keep your platform in sync with ChargeOver.
